A single-ply roofing system lasts 15 to 20 years on average, although they can last much longer (sometimes up to 40 years). Using quality materials, professional installation, and conducting regular roof inspections helps lengthen the life of a single-ply roofing system.

A single-ply roofing system is estimated by square feet of roof. The cost for the system also includes the thickness of the membrane, the type (TPO or PVC), the insulation, and additional factors like removing an old roofing system, difficult to reach places, and the attachment system you choose. The average cost per square foot of TPO is $5 to $8, but the larger the roof, the more economical single-ply becomes.

Single-ply roofing offers easy installation and maintenance, which makes it such an attractive option, but we recommend regular roof inspections of your system. Pay attention to seams and where the roof meets corners, pipes, etc. Also inspect the roof after major weather events and keep it clear of debris, including gutters and drain systems. Any damage or leaks should be repaired right away.
